Solid construction, what expected. Will go nice with my old style brass Henry 45-70
I bought this scope for a Henry 45 Colt sidegate with brass receiver and embellishments to go to my youngest daughter.
She saw it Sunday for the first time and fell in love with it. It's a beautiful scope and a great addition to a brass Henry. It was easy to zero.I loaded hot loads for the colt for hunting and the scope is holding up great. The packing that the scope came in was outstanding. The folks at 1895 scopes really know what they are doing. Thank y'all for a beautiful, quality product.

I put this on a Henry Brass GOVT 45-70. The look is classic, very impressive. I took it to the range and had a bullseye at 100 yards in seven shots. So far very happy with this purchase. I may be back for another.
